On 14 November 2004, the annual Love Ride motorcycle event roared into history, led by Jay Leno, bringing together nearly 25,000 motorcyclists in the cause of helping others, and raising a record $1,275,000. It is the largest one-day motorcycle and fund-raising event in the world. Beneficiaries including the LA Times Reading by 9 and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Jay Leno was joined by Willie G. Davidson, founder Oliver Shokouh, Lorenzo Lamas, Robbie Knievel, the Love Ride is a 40-mile trek from Glendale to Castaic Lake. Lynyrd Skynyrd gave the concert this year.
