Love Ride 17 17 motorcycle event, led by Jay Leno, went down the highway into history on 12 November 2000. Photographs of Jay Leno, Peter Fonda, Oliver Shokouh, Pat Boone, Larry Hagman, Robert Patrick, Robert Blake, Willie G. Davidson and thousands of bikers raised $1,125,000 dollars for charities Muscular Dystrophy Association and California Reading by 9 literacy program. This was the first complete Ride shot by Simón Cherpitel. Motorcyclists came from Europe as well as all over the United States and California. Love Ride is the largest motorcycle fund-raising event and single day biker rally in the world.
